MESKO S.A. WITH ANOTHER RECORD-BREAKING CONTRACT FOR THE POLISH ARMED FORCES
On April 30, MESKO S.A. – a company belonging to the PGZ – signed a contract with the Armaments Agency to supply thousands of rounds of 30 mm medium-caliber ammunition to the Polish Armed Forces. The contract was signed by Renata Gruszczyńska, Chairman of the Board of MESKO S.A. and Brigadier General Artur Kuptel PhD, Head of the Armaments Agency.
The contract with the Armaments Agency covers the production and delivery of two types of 30 mm ammunition: a multi-purpose round with a tracer and self-destructing fuse (MP-T/SD) and a sub-caliber round with an armor-piercing fin-stabilized discarding sabot with a tracer projectile (APFSDS-T). In the years 2026 to 2028, MESKO S.A. will supply the Polish Army with thousands of rounds of both types combined. The contract is valued at nearly PLN 240 million.
- Another order from the Armament Agency for 30x173 mm medium-caliber ammunition confirms the company's strong brand in the Polish defense sector. We are leaders and a reliable and trustworthy contractor who always provides the Polish Armed Forces with the highest quality products, thus strengthening Poland's security - emphasizes Renata Gruszczyńska, Chairman of the Board of MESKO S.A.
The 30x173 mm rounds with MP-T/SD and APFSDS-T projectiles are designed to engage armored targets at ranges of up to 3,000 and 4,000 meters respectively with the ATK MK 44 Bushmaster II gun, which is, among others, the armament of Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier.
